Where to get a fashion style handbag for less?

29th July, 2010

A lady who likes to look good always makes sure to have the right handbags to accessorize her wardrobe. Nothing speaks class like the proper handbag tossed over a woman’s shoulder. With shoes, sunglasses, jewelry, and a gorgeous bag, a woman is decked out and ready to go out – and take Manhattan! Designer handbags are beautiful, classy, stylish, and EXPENSIVE. So what’s a stylish girl to do? Inspired designer handbag!

Designers like Coach, Chanel, Gucci, Kate Spade, and Fendi have the market. Whatever they produce is definitely going to be the “it” bag for the season. They use top quality materials and superior stitching to create their wondrous concoctions. Then they sell them for thousands of dollars! Of course, there are few women who can actually afford to buy these exclusive bags, at least far fewer than would love to have them. Heck, each bag costs an entire year’s wardrobe worth for the working girl! And to have more than one? For shame! So with the exception of the filthy rich, stylish girls everywhere are forced to endure carrying around designer-less drudgery from the local bag store.

Inspired designer handbags often look very similar to the real thing. They may be missing a signature logo or other tell-tale sign, but often the style is so reminiscent of the authentic, designer version that nobody will ever notice. And the prices are literally a fraction of the real thing! Accessories Inspired by designers are great alternative to pricey purses and accessories. With NO designer logos these handbags, wallets and accessories were designed to ROCK! So you can get Coach, Chanel, Fendi, and Gucci “look-alikes” for less than a quarter of the price of what one authentic bag would cost you.

Ethical Fashion: Style with Conscience

27th July, 2010

The green movement has pervaded even the fashion industry that in just a few years, it has sprouted its own fashion category. More and more consumers are adopting a healthier lifestyle and are becoming more socially aware. This change in lifestyle has had a meaningful impact on the way consumers perceive the products that they buy and they have become more discerning in the brands that they choose. A lot of designers, for their part, have also adopted measures to ensure that their products are in tune with environment-friendly standards. Ethical fashion is gradually but steadily gaining ground as a viable means of doing business for these designers. Beyond Going Green When we encounter the words “ethical fashion,” the first thing that usually comes to our minds is organic, recycled and environment-friendly products. But ethical fashion goes beyond that. It also covers the advocacy of fair labor practices, where the rights of workers in the fashion industry aren’t trod upon. It means promoting respect for artisan skills and helping sustain these skills. Designers who are advocates of ethical fashion are discerning in the choice of materials that they use. These may include the following: – Organic cotton – Recycled materials – Bamboo – Hemp – Natural materials like vegetable dyes Ethical fashion designers are also champions of manufacturing processes that have the least impact on the environment. For instance, they limit the use of harmful chemicals in their garments. People who support ethical fashion know that the production of these products affect everybody, from the farmer to the consumer. This is why there is a conscious effort to make sure all materials and processes satisfy the principles of ethics. Steady Growth, Increased Awareness The deteriorating condition of the environment has been a wake up call for people. During recent years, there has been a boom in the organic lifestyle. This has brought about a heightened awareness among people that this way of life is now being adopted in many areas – inside the home, at work, in the way we eat, and now, in fashion. In the beginning, there weren’t very many choices in organic clothing that consumers were offered. But these days, it isn’t so difficult to find high quality, attractive clothing as there are many alternatives that come in different designs, colors and materials. Ethical fashion practices are no longer just limited to clothing. Jewelry and beauty products are now also made with all-natural materials. Prospects for the Future It is clear that ethical fashion is here to stay. Even top players in the fashion industry are looking to produce eco-friendly materials. Brands such as Levi’s, Banana Republic and Marks and Spencer are offering green products. In 2004, a fashion show devoted to the showcasing of ethical fashion was launched and designers and consumers alike look forward to it year after year since then. Aside from runway shows, the event also features conventions and symposia as venues for in-depth discussions about sustainable fashion practices. There is reason to believe this fashion event will continue to enjoy enormous support. In 2007 alone, the show has attracted over four thousand participants.

Bohemian style of clothing as becomes the latest trend in fashion nowadays.  Its popularity is rising as celebrities begun to wear it on red carpet on big occasions. The good thing is, it is not really that expensive like what celebrities wear.

The term Bohemian means somebody with unconventional lifestyle. It defines somebody often a writer or artist who does not live according to the conventions of the society. Actually, Bohemian style is a nonconformist style. With such, you don’t have to expensive designer’s collection just to get an entire new wardrobe.

Bohemian style started by struggling artists of 1950s. The style on how they dress is often greeted by mass media as barbaric as they deviate from the conventions. Jewelry like Jennifer Lopez – Fashion Style

17th July, 2010

Jennifer Lopez has been on our style radar for some time now, shocking us with daring choices and dazzling jewelry that is fabulously frivolous and over the top. Though most of us probably can’t afford to spring for Jennifer Lopez size gems, we can take some tips from her to create jewelry looks that add glamour to our own wardrobe.

Jennifer Lopez makes her own rules, as she chooses combinations including both gold and sterling silver jewelry. On a recent promotional experience she wore a large silver chain link bracelet with a jumbo size pair of hoop earrings and a handful of rings. She favors hoop earrings, often choosing oversize textured pairs to compliment a flowing hair style.

Mrs. Mark Anthony also likes to pile on the bangles, wearing wristfuls of sterling silver thin bracelets as a casual accessory. She also stacks large wooden bangles, sporting several at a time, plus big earrings and fancy necklaces to complete an outfit.

Jennifer Lopez’s jewelry style is versatile and fashion, as she switches back and forth from pop rocker to glam goddess. Onstage, she needs to be the center of attention, rocking piles of accessories. But lately, her red-carpet look has leaned more toward tailored and posh, consisting more of classic pieces like humongous diamond studs, which shine with an elegant up-do. Other favors include romantic art deco drop earrings with matching bezel-set bracelet. Often the gowns she wears are decadent unto themselves, so she’s careful to choose jewelry that doesn’t overpower. Instead, it adds just the right touch of sparkle.
